Shurouq pendant

The sun, clearing the horizon.

Shurouq means sunrise. The pendant is drawn as the sun clearing the horizon: a fan of rays above an arc, a stone rising at the centre, and below it a fine point of gold. The rays are inlaid with mother-of-pearl and the arc with malachite, set in 18-karat gold. A line of diamonds runs between the rays and the arc.
